Golf Course

About

The course is an 18-hole parkland course with a par of 70 and the yardage is 5989 yards. Providing a good test of golf for all levels of ability, the course is constantly maintained to offer the best experience available. A variety of challenges await the discerning golfer with some excellent water features, undulating fairways and multi tiered greens.

Accuracy is important with some tight driving holes and sweeping dog legs, the surrounding parkland supports an abundance of wildlife, wild flowers and mature trees, which make it an enjoyable walk, as well as a good day out.

Our signature hole is the 10th being 393 yards par 4 with the approach shot played over water onto a large narrow undulating tiered green.

The recently improved 1st hole is a 436 yard par 4, with new lake and raised green providing a challenging start to the course.

The 3 new holes that opened in July 2008 appear on the back 9, as holes 14, 15 and 16. These recent alterations have extended the course by 301 yards, adding a second par 5 along the way.

For the 2013 season, the newly evolved 11th hole was brought into play, with the tee shot pulled back your first has to clear the brook allowing for a dog legged second over more water into a newly formed green that slopes from back to front. With plenty of water and penalty areas this is hole requires nerve to score well.

Since then the 7th green has been reconstructed, and the 2018 greens construction project involved the redesign of holes 2,4,5 & 12, which can be viewed on the link from the home page.
