Mens Club Championship

Following one of the most closely fought championship in years, Ben Stokes birdied the final hole to to take the title with a 146 gross for the 36 holes. Ben and Ian Atkinson were tied for the lead after the first round with a pair of 74’s. Steve Gibbs, Steve Mayor and David Sarson were only a shot away with opening 75’s. But in a dramatic final round run in, Ben clinched victory from Ian by one shot, hitting a 72 to finish on +6. Karl Randall took the Nett Championship with two rounds of nett 68 off 14 handicap. Overall, the club championship was a great day all round. A fantastic competition, and lots of fun had by all at the evening BBQ run by Andy Wilson & Tom Downey.
